Travel back in time when the likes of Sinatra, Dino, and more were taking over Las Vegas with Sandbar Mexican Grill for their “New Year’s Eve at the Sands.” Both Chandler and Phoenix locations will celebrate New Year’s Eve with a Vegas style celebration featuring $5 glass of champagne all day and a mini Dos XX toast at midnight. Sandbar’s Mexican Grill’s “New Year’s Eve at the Sands” begins at both locations at 9 p.m.

Get a jumpstart on your New Year’s Eve celebrations at Hula’s Modern Tiki in Phoenix and Scottsdale, for an all-day-all-night party. Kicking off at 10:30 a.m. on December 31 and keeping the party hopping all the way till midnight, enjoy Hula’s famous weekend brunch plus happy hour drink specials offered all day. Both locations will stay open until midnight and celebrate with $3 glasses of Champagne (after 6 p.m.) plus a complimentary midnight toast. Old Town Gringos celebrates its 2nd anniversary and New Year’s Eve with an all-day party to close out 2017 and ring in 2018 in style. From 11:00 a.m to 6:00 p.m. football fans can enjoy the OTG Tailgate Party with the best seats in the house for watching the games, brats and burgers grilled tailgate-style on the patio, and NFL jersey giveaways until 6:00 p.m. Then the nightlife takes over with live music to dance away 2017, and $2 drink specials all night long. When booked in advance, parties of six or more receive Deep Eddy bottle service for just a penny. FREE to attend with drinks and food are available for purchase.

Ring in the New Year at Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort & Spa at its Centerstage Bar. The night will include performances by singer, guitarist and songwriter Brian Chartrand and southwest country music group Young Country. Doors open at 6 p.m. Free entry for resort guests and for those who have made dinner reservations. Guests that would like to attend the celebration without a room or dinner reservation may purchase tickets day of in the main lobby. Jade Bar at Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain is hosting a New Year’s Eve bash starting at 8 p.m. through 1 a.m., complete with a dancefloor and live music by DJ Hybrid. Priced at $1,000 for a table of four and $1,500 for a table of six, the dinner package includes a four-course prix fixe holiday menu, bottle of Dom Perignon Champagne and party favors. Tax and gratuity are additional, and space is limited. Reservations for all holiday events are required and can be made by calling 480.607.2300.

Inspired by season seven of Game of ThronesDakota will be transformed with all white decor to resemble a snowy winter night. Wait staff will be dressed in elaborate costumes resembling White Walkers. Themed decor pieces include a large iron throne, flags representing each noble house and a dragon, among other inspired items. At midnight, white confetti will drop from the ceiling to celebrate the arrival of the new year. Both GA and VIP tickets are available. The District and Māyā Day + Nightclub located in the Scottsdale Entertainment District are hosting Star Wars-themed parties titled, “The Force.” Māyā will be decorated as the “dark side,” featuring Darth Vader, Storm Troopers and other characters. The club will be lit with vibrant red lights and illuminated disco balls hanging from the ceiling. On the flip side, The District will represent the light side of “Star Wars” and will showcase characters such as Leia, Yoda and Jedis. The venue will be transformed with lights covering the walls and ceilings, transporting guests into another galaxy. Have fun in Scottsdale AZ during the New Year season

Putting a retro spin on the festivities, Goldmember New Year’s Eve at W Scottsdale will transport guests into a golden spectacle of ‘70s disco-themed décor, complete with go-go dancers, extreme roller-skating acrobatic performers and wait staff dressed to theme. Guests can mix and move on the WET Deck to the electric sounds of the hotel’s resident DJs, or head downstairs to listen to live music in the Living Room. At midnight, attendees will celebrate the arrival of 2018 with an impressive firework display from the hotel’s rooftop. Doors open at 9 p.m. Tickets here.

NYE3 allows guests to mingle at all three of Talking Stick Resort’s fetes throughout the evening and party the night away with several different tribute bands and DJs. Beyond NYE3, Talking Stick Resort will offer New Year celebrations throughout its property including Raven’s New Year’s Eve Gala in the Showroom from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m., the property’s nightclub; Degree 270 will have DJs throughout the night including Tranzit from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. There will also be live music in each of its lounges including Blue Coyote Cantina, Orange Sky Lounge, Palo Verde Lounge and Shadows.

Set for 8 p.m. until 1 a.m., Mowry & Cotton’s end-of-year Porch Party at The Phoenician promises endless fine food and drink for attendees, with passed bites and food stations. Also on the roster is non-stop entertainment with a live band, a DJ and a dance floor, along with an onsite photo booth and plenty of chances for photo opps, while taking in unbeatable views of the surrounding Valley from the venue’s expansive, heated porch. There will be ample opportunity to break out the bubbly, including a complimentary glass of champagne upon arrival, as well as for the midnight toast. $75 per person (plus tax and gratuity), with prices rising to $95 per person (plus tax and gratuity) from Dec. 21 through 31. Families are invited to ring in 2018 at Yote’s Family New Year’s Eve Party at Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak Resort in Phoenix. The family-friendly celebration will feature a hearty buffet dinner with open, community-style seating and an evening full of entertainment including a DJ spinning live tunes throughout the night, dancing, games and crafts, a magician, face painting and much more. Families can capture memories throughout the evening in the family photo booth and will celebrate the New Year early with a 10 p.m. ball drop and sparkling cider toast. El Hefe Scottsdale is hosting “Countdown to Confetti,” an all day party on Sunday, followed by “The Morning After” starting at 6 a.m. on New Year’s Day. The venue will be covered in traditional gold, black and silver décor, and a running clock countdown to midnight. Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row Scottsdale is turning into “Champagne Row” for New Years Eve. This champagne-themed party will be poppin with festive décor, drink specials and music by DJ Real. El Hefe Tempe and Whiskey Row Tempe are teaming up to host “The Champagne Ball,” an annual block party on Mill Avenue. Get entry to two of the top bars on Mill for the price of one. Hand Cut Burgers & Chophouse is hosting “Vintage 2018,” a champagne and wine themed party on Sunday to get you ready to ring in 2018. Jake’s Unlimited is hosting a 21+ party that includes rides and attractions, bowling, a Champagne toast, bets by DJ Ramses Ja plus a chef’s selection buffet from 9 to 11 p.m. and an open well bar, both for an additional cost. Regular entry is $25, buffet is $20 and the open well bar is $25. Guests who purchase all three options will receive a $10 game card to round out the night with unlimited fun.
